Awarded a five-star Meublé de Tourisme rating and located in beautiful, vibrant  Pézenas in the Languedoc, this luxury holiday home, Fleurdilly, is a real hidden gem. Positioned only five minutes walk ( this is true btw) from the heart of the historic old town, the former 'maison vigneronne' was built in the 19th century on the old market gardens and has been lovingly renovated to create a luxuriously appointed but stylishly different 'maison de vacances' - Maison Fleur.  We offer a spacious outdoor terrace for dining and reclining, a Mediterranean garden, a dreamy 'Bali' silver-green tiled swimming pool, games room and secure parking for two cars.   To accommodate larger groups Chez Dilly next door will be available on request as an extension to  Maison Fleur in Summer 2025.

Maison Fleur is the original residence redefined as a spacious four bedroom, three bathroom home for eight guests. At its heart is a 15-metre long 'grand salon' offering a wonderful open living space with a central bespoke stainless steel kitchen and island, flanked by separate dining and lounging spaces. No muted shabby chic here.   The interiors are traditional with a twist as the colour schemes have been inspired by the colours of the pool and gardens . Its thick stone walls and lofty ceilings provide a welcome retreat for those seeking a cool relaxing refuge from the heat of the Languedoc Summer. Featuring Designers Guild sofas and bespoke soft furnishings with an eclectic mix of modern and vintage furniture, fresh white bathrooms adorned with handcrafted Moroccan Zellige tiles and fine quality bedlinen, no comfort has been overlooked.

Maison Fleur has four comfortable, artfully curated and stylish bedrooms - one on the ground floor and the other three on the first floor.   Chambre du Jardin on the ground floor is a pretty and fresh double room (bed 160cm wide) where you can gaze at the garden from your bed with a leafy canopy and the constant chatter of birds overhead. The master suite. Chambre Verte with its luxurious ensuite bathroom provides a relaxing retreat in shades of green (double bed 160cm wide). Chambre d`Edith offers a serene, calm space with a superking bed 180cm wide ( can be a twin room on request).  
Chambre Cantonaise revels in its Oriental theme against a background of a rich atmospheric blue.   All rooms have the benefit of air-conditioning and blackout shutters.

The depth of colour and the integrity of artisan made Moroccan Zellige tiles were impossible to resist, especially when combined with a velvety smooth retro cement tiled floor which perfectly offset the clean lines of Duravit bathware.

In the lazy, hazy days of Summer some of our guests believe the exquisite sea-green pool is Fleurdilly's crowning glory. A classic travertine bassin harbours iridescent Bali stone tiles which can be utterly mesmerising as they shimmer and sparkle beneath the sunlit waters. No squabbling required over who sits on the submerged steps which rather unselfishly stretch along the length of the pool. With seductive Serpente sun loungers, relaxing chairs and parasols awaiting poolside it might seem almost impossible to tear yourself away.  Indeed why would you?

Fleurdilly is a former "maison vigneronne" built on the site of Pézenas old market gardens and even contains one of the old working wells which is now used to irrigate the Mediterranean style garden.
We have worked around the original planting, so you can still enjoy the shade offered by our magnificent old Sentinel-like trees three lime, a walnut and a stunning Albezia tree.

Maison Fleur rental accommodation comprises:

  • 4 double bedrooms (one ground floor, one 1st floor can convert to a twin room when requested in advance ) All with blackout shutters.

  • 3 bathrooms (one ground floor and one ensuite)

  • a Grand Salon for open plan living, dining, cooking

  • a private terrace with outdoor dining and lounging areas plus gas BBQ

  • Wifi and air-con throughout

  • exclusive use of a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool

  • exclusive use of a games room - pool table and table tennis

  • a laundry room

  • ​on-site parking for 2 cars

  • all bedlinen, towels and pool towels provided 

In 2025 Chez Dilly will be available on request as an additional accommodation to compliment Maison Fleur.  Combined they will be perfect for multi-generational holidays or two families enjoying time together.

Please note We live quietly next door.  No pets accepted.  Property probably unsuitable for babies on the move and toddlers as the ornate stone staircase cannot accommodate a stair gate with a variety of stone floors and uneven surfaces throughout . Children over 5 years old advised
